B) CO-ORGANIZED WITH HONG KONG MEDIATION CENTER

Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) Holders of Bachelor's degree in any discipline; or (2) Holders of sub-degree, or equivalent to Level 4 of the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) in any discipline.

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) Introduction to the basic concepts, trends, prospects and procedures of mediation (8 hours) (2) Understand the quality, role and function of mediators and master communication skills, listening skills, questioning skills, and promotion skills (8 hours) (3) Master remodeling skills, empowerment skills, negotiation skills (8 hours) (4) Master the use of body language, break the deadlocks, eliminate final differences, and understand the basic concepts of contracts, mediated settlement agreements and other related documents (8 hours) (5) Teaching mediation codes, professional codes and ethics of mediators (8 hours)

Panel of Mediator [accredited and recognised by Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL)]

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Settlement agreement drafting assessment (25%) (2) End-of-course assessment (75%) (B) Completion and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Students who have passed all courses with an overall passing mark of 50 marks or above (2) 100% attendance rate in each course
