Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
A. Level 2 in five HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language and English Language or equivalent; or all full pass with 8 subjects of Diploma Yi Jin; or
B. Aged 21 or above at the commencement of the programme plus minimum 1-year health related working experience; or
C. Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by LIFE

1. FUNDAMENTALS OF DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTING (30 HOURS) 2. ADVANCED SKILLS OF DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTING (60 HOURS)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
THE INSTRUCTORS SHOULD BE DENTISTS, DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTANTS OR QUALIFIED DENTAL PROFESSIONALS WITH A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS RELEVANT POST-REGISTRATION EXPERIENCE.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weighting:
(1) Continuous Assessment (20%)
- assesses students’ability to communicate with patients and provide health education information in community servicein of dental health education.
(2) Final Clinical Examination (40%)
(3) Final Written Examination (40%)

(B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements:
(1) Pass each module taken with overall passing mark of 50% and
(2) At least 80% attendance rate in each module taken.
