Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1a) Grade E or above in Chinese Language or Putonghua in HKCEE / Level 2 or above in Chinese Language in HKDSE; or (1b) Graduates of Project Yi Jin / Yi Jin Diploma or equivalent; or (1c) Age of 21 or above. (2a) Completed Certificate Programme in Putonghua (Advanced Level) of CUSCS or equivalent; or (2b) Pass in the entrance test.

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) 單元一：高級普通話語音訓練 (39小時 + 測驗3小時 + 考試3小時) (2) 單元二：高級普通話朗讀訓練 (54小時 + 測驗3小時 + 考試3小時) (3) 單元三：高級普通話說話訓練 (52小時 + 測驗4小時 + 考試4小時) (4) 單元四：高級普通話聽力訓練 (30小時 + 測驗2小時 + 考試3小時) [*The sequence of delivery may vary in different intakes.] [CUSCS exemption policy: - A module taken at CUSCS or elsewhere will be recognized as equivalent to a CUSCS module if it is comparable in objectives and learning outcomes as well as QF Level or academic standard, and provides the student with sufficient knowledge to pursue his/her study at CUSCS. The total no. of hours* exempted should not exceed 50% of the total amount of CUSCS programme studied.*Applicable for part-time programmes.]

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
(A) Education qualification(s): Tertiary education or above and (B) Professional Qualification(s): First Class in the PSC Test recognized by The State Language and Writing Commission and (C) Year of Training Experience: 5 years or above

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Final Exam (50%) (2) Mid-term Test (30%) (3) Assignment (10%) (4) Class Participation (10%) (B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) At least 70% of the total contact hours of the CEF course (2) obtain overall pass grade D (which is equivalent to 50%) for each module
