Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
Applicants should: (1) Completion of CUSCS Certificate Programme in Korean (Introductory) or equivalent; or demonstration of proficiency of an equivalent level; and (2) Completion of secondary education or equivalent, for example: Certificate at the Korean (Introductory) level obtained from other schools in Hong Kong or overseas. (i) Certificate at Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Level 1. (ii) Certificates at secondary education level obtained in Mainland such as specialist or from overseas such as GCSE; or aged 21 or above.

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) Module 1. Basic Korean 1 (50 hours + 1 hour Mid-term Test + 3 hours Final Exam) (2) Module 2. Basic Korean 2 (50 hours + 1 hour Mid-term Test + 3 hours Final Exam) [The sequence of delivery may vary in different intakes] [CUSCS exemption policy: A module taken at CUSCS or elsewhere will be recognized as equivalent to a CUSCS module if it is comparable in objectives and learning outcomes as QF Level or academic standard, and provides the student with sufficient knowledge to pursue his/her study at CUSCS. The total no. of hours* exempted should not exceed 50% of the total amount of CUSCS programme studied] [*Applicable for part-time programmes]

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Qualified teaching staff will be drawn from global universities with at least a bachelor degree and a minimum of two years of teaching experience.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Module 1: (i) Final Exam 60% (ii) Mid-term Test 30% (iii) Presentation 10% (2) Module 2: (i) Final Exam 60% (ii) Mid-term Test 30% (iii) Presentation 10% (B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Have an attendance rate of 70% or above in each module; and (2) Have passed the overall assessments of each module (i.e. overall pass grade D / equivalent to 50% or above).
