Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
The participants are required to: a) have completed Secondary 5 (or equivalent); and b) possess the ability to read Chinese; and c) pass the entrance test; or d) have completed Putonghua training course of "Introduction to Hanyu Pinyin System" and "Enhancement Course of Hanyu Pinyin System" organized by the Centre for Research and Development of Putonghua Education, or attended no less than 60 hours of Putonghua training. [Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of Hanyu Pinyin before studying the Programme. In addition, the Programme is suitable for those participants whose target is to pass the test or achieve a higher level of accuracy and fluency. With reference to the PSC, participants will submit their voice recording files for the entrance test of the Programme and are required to achieve 60 marks in the entrance test to prove their Putonghua proficiency prior to admission.]

(1) Module 1: Practical Putonghua Training (I) - 48 hours + 6 assessment hours (2) Module 2: Practical Putonghua Training (II) - 48 hours + 6 assessment hours

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Instructors with at least 6 years of experience in teaching Putonghua and Grade One in the Putonghua Proficiency Test. Also, they are PSC Assessors authorized by the State Language Commission.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Module 1: Practical Putonghua Training (I): Assignment 80%, class participation 20% (2) Module 2: Practical Putonghua Training (II): Assignment 80%, class participation 20% (B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) complete a total of two compulsory modules; (2) attend no less than 80% of the total sessions for each compulsory module (i.e., not less than 13 sessions for each module); and (3) complete all assignments with an average grade of D (which is equivalent to 50%) or above
