Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(I) attained at least Grade E in English Language in the HKCEE (Syllabus A); OR (II) completion of Secondary 5 with pass grade in English on the school report at either Secondary 4 or 5; OR (III) attained an overall score of 3.5 in IELTS (either Academic Module or General Training Module); OR (IV) completed the Entrance Assessment Test with pass grade (i.e. 50%)

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) Module 1 (Writing Task 2): 30 hours
(2) Module 2 (Speaking + Reading): 30 hours
(3) Module 3 (Writing Task 1 + Listening): 30 hours
(4) Final Assessment (Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking): 3 hours

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
(1) A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Translation or other related subjects;
(2) A minimum overall IELTS (Academic) results of 7.5 with a minimum of 7 in each of the 4 sections or attained Grade A in HKCEE’s English Language or attained Grade C in HKAL’s Use of English;
(3) At least 1 year of English language teaching experience or in education industry; and
(4) Prior working experience in the business sector preferred.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings:
(1) Continuous Assessment: (15%)
(a) Speaking + Reading: 5 Assignments: (1% each)
(b) Writing Task 1 + Listening: 5 Assignments: (1% each)
(c) Writing Task 2: 5 Assignments (1% each)

(2) Final Assessment: 85%
(a) Writing Tasks 1 & 2: (25%)
(b) Speaking: (10%)
(c) Reading: (25%)
(d) Listening: (25%)

(B) Completion and CEF Reimbursement Requirements:
(1) Attain the minimum attendance requirement of 70%;
(2) Obtain at least 50% marks for each part (i.e. Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) of the Final Assessments; and
(3) Obtain at least 50% marks of the whole programme
