Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) Level 2 in five subjects in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination including Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent; or (2) Pass in one A Level or two AS Level plus five passes in HKCEE including Level 2 / Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent; or (3) Satisfactory completion of the Yi Jin Diploma Programme; or (4) Aged 21 or above.

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) Module 1. Introduction to Daoism and Daoism in Hong Kong (32 hours) (2) Module 2. Daoism and Chinese Culture and Arts (32 hours) (3) Module 3. Reading in Daoist Scriptures and Novels of Immortals (32 hours) (4) Module 4. Daoist Ethics and Arts of Life-Nourishing (32 hours) (5) Module 5. Daoist Rituals and Divination (32 hours) (6) Module 6. Guided Independent Study (16 hours) (7) Module 7. Fieldtrips to Daoist Temples (24 hours) [The sequence of delivery may vary in different intakes] [CUSCS exemption policy: A module taken at CUSCS or elsewhere will be recognized as equivalent to a CUSCS module if it is comparable in objectives and learning outcomes as QF Level or academic standard, and provides the student with sufficient knowledge to pursue his/her study at CUSCS. Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Qualified teaching staff with a master degree and a minimum of three years’ teaching experience in the relevant disciplines or professional experience in related fields will be recruited to teach the programme.

Module 1:
- Assignment 90%
- Class participation 10%

Module 2:
- Assignment 90%
- Class participation 10%

Module 3:
- Assignment 90%
- Class participation 10%

Module 4:
- Assignment 90%

Module 5:
- Assignment 90%
- Class participation 10%

Module 6:
- Assignment 80%
- Presentation 20%

Module 7:
- Assignment 100%

(B) Completion Requirements:
(1) Have an attendance rate of 70% or above in each module; and
(2) Have passed the assessment of each module.(i.e. overall pass grade D / equivalent to 50%)

(C)  CEF Reimbursement Requirements:
(1) At least 70% of the total contact hours of the CEF course
(2) Obtain overall pass grade D (which is equivalent to 50%) or above for each module
