Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) have completed secondary education, or equivalent, for example: Certificates at secondary education level obtained in Mainland such as specialist or from overseas such as GCSE; or (2) be aged 21 or above

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) Module 1: A Brief History of Hong Kong (20 hours) (2) Module 2: Heritage and Cultural Tourism in Hong Kong: Principles and Practice (20 hours) (3) Module 3: Historical Buildings in Hong Kong (20 hours) (4) Module 4: Community Practice of Tour Guiding of Heritage and Monuments (30 hours) [The sequence of delivery may vary in different intakes] [CUSCS exemption policy: A module taken at CUSCS or elsewhere will be recognized as equivalent to a CUSCS module if it is comparable in objectives and learning outcomes as QF Level or academic standard, and provides the student with sufficient knowledge to pursue his/her study at CUSCS. Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Qualified teaching staff with higher degrees or professional qualifications in related fields will be recruited to teach each module.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Module 1: Assignment 80%; Class participation 20% (2) Module 2: Assignment 80%; Class participation 20% (3) Module 3: Assignment 80%; Class participation 20% (4) Module 4: Project 80%; Class participation 20% (B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Have an attendance rate of 70% or above in each module; and (2) Have passed the overall assessments of each module (i.e. overall pass grade D / equivalent to 50% or above).
