Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent plus 1 year working experience; or (2) Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent plus 2 years working experience; or (3) Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board and plus 1 year relevant working experience; or (4) Mature applicant aged 21 years old or above plus at least 2 years relevant work experience.

(I) Core module: (1) Basic Laboratory Management (Construction Materials) (15 hrs) (2) Testing Technology - Infrared Thermography (15 hrs) (3) Testing Technology - Half-cell Potential Measurement, Covermeter Survey and Pull-off Tester (15 hrs) (4) Testing Technology - Concrete and Rebar Quality Test (15 hrs) (5) Water Leakage Detection and Repair (15 hrs) (II) Elective Modules (Complete any 2 modules): (1) Concrete Technology (Mix and Properties) (15 hrs) (2) Concrete Technology (Application and Quality Control) (15 hrs) (3) Building Defects and Condition Survey (15 hrs) (4) Repair of Building Defects (15 hrs) (5) Statutory Control on Building Inspection and Maintenance (15 hrs) (6) Testing Technology - Surface Penetration Radar Survey (15 hrs)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and 3 years' relevant experience.

(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: The assessment includes Continuous Assessment (CA) and End-of-Module Assessment (EA).
