Entry Requirements / 入學要求:

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) Module 1: Design Fundamentals (20 hrs) (2) Module 2: 2D Digital Design (30 hrs) (3) Module 3: Digital Video Editing and Special Effects Production (30 hrs) (4) Module 4: UX/UI Design (42 hrs) (5) Module 5: Creative Work Approach (20 hrs) [*The sequence of delivery may vary in different intakes.] [CUSCS exemption policy: A module taken at CUSCS or elsewhere will be recognized as equivalent to a CUSCS module if it is comparable in objectives and learning outcomes as well as QF Level or academic standard, and provides the student with sufficient knowledge to pursue his/her study at CUSCS. The total no. of hours* exempted should not exceed 50% of the total amount of CUSCS programme studied. *Applicable for part-time programmes.]

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Qualified teaching staff will be appointed or drawn from local and overseas tertiary institutions and related industrial sectors, preferably with a relevant higher degree and a minimum of two years teaching.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Module 1: Design Fundamentals: Assignment 90%; Class participation: 10% (2) Module 2: 2D Digital Design: Assignment 80%; Presentation: 20% (3) Module 3: Digital Video Editing and Special Effects Production: Assignment 100%; (4) Module 4: UX/UI Design: Assignment 40%; Presentation: 20%; Project: 30%; Class participation: 10% (5) Module 5: Creative Work Approach: Presentation 20%; Project: 60%; Class participation: 20% (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Have an attendance rate of 70% or above in each module; and (2) Have overall passed the assessment of each module (i.e. overall pass grade D (which is equivalent to 50%) or above for each module). (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Have an attendance rate of 70% or above in each module of the CEF course; and (2) Have overall passed the assessment of each module of the CEF course (i.e. overall pass grade D (which is equivalent to 50%) or above for each module).
