Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) Completion of secondary school (secondary 6 under the HKDSE academic structure or secondary 5 under the HKCEE academic structure or an equivalent level); AND
(2) Applicants’ English ability can be demonstrated in various ways, including but limited to:
(a) Level 2 or above in English Language in HKDSE; or
(b) Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE; or
(c) Grade C or above in English Language (Syllabus A) in HKCEE; or
(d) Completion of a Diploma or Degree that were assessed in English; or(e) International English Tests (IELTS: 5.0 or above; TOEFL iBT: 37 or above).

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) The Employment Ordinance (Cap.57) and its major features (15 hours)
(2) Application of the Employment Ordinance (Cap.57) and its interrelations with other employment-related ordinances (15 hours)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
(1) Master’s degree or above in law, human resources, or business-related disciplines; or
(2) (a) Holding professional qualifications including member of the Law Society of Hong Kong, barrister-at-law, solicitor; and
(b) At least 3 years of working experience in the related field; and
(c) Teaching experience is preferable.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings:
(1) Mid-term Assignment: 60%
(2) Written Examination: 40%

(B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements:
(1) A minimum of 70% attendance; and
(2) Obtain a pass (a minimum of 50% of the total marks) in the mid-term assessments (Mid-term Assignment); and
(3) Obtain a pass (a minimum of 50% of the total marks) in the final examination (Written Examination).
