The Fund is committed to popularising arts education among youngsters, as it is widely recognised that arts education is an integral part of one's whole-person development. The Fund has been offering sponsorships to the Young Friends of the Hong Kong Arts Festival ever since its inception in 1992. Through the Young Friends, the Fund has sponsored many of our youngsters wishing to experience different aspects of arts and culture. To date, over 825 000 secondary and post-secondary students have benefitted from the scheme, with a cumulative total of around 186 000 members.
