Support Services for People of Diverse Race
  • SFO is committed to providing all possible assistance to needy people of diverse race for applying the student financial assistance.
  • Leaflet and “Notes on How to Complete and Return Household Application Form” in 8 languages other than Chinese and English (namely, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu and Vietnamese) are available to assist people of diverse race in understanding the details of various student financial assistance schemes. People of diverse race may make reference to the “Notes on How to Complete and Return Household Application Form” in 8 other languages in filling out the Household Application Form.
  • For people of diverse race enquiring details of student financial assistance through our hotline, telephone interpretation service in these languages of different races could be arranged free of charge with the assistance of the Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER). Check out at 2802 2345 or with CHEER.
  • CHEER is sponsored by the Home Affairs Department (HAD) to provide accessible interpretation and translation services to people of diverse race in Hong Kong. Check out the services with the Support Service Centres for Ethnic Minorities funded by HAD.
