- SFO is committed to providing all possible assistance to needy ethnic minorities (EM) for applying the student financial assistance.
- Leaflet and “Notes on How to Complete and Return Household Application Form” in 7 EM languages (namely, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi (Indian), Tagalog, Thai and Urdu) are available to assist EM in understanding the details of various student financial assistance schemes. EM may make reference to the “Notes on How to Complete and Return Household Application Form” in 7 EM languages in filling out the Household Application Form.
- For EM enquiring details of student financial assistance through our hotline, telephone interpretation service in these EM languages could be arranged free of charge with the assistance of the Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER). Check out at 2802 2345 or with CHEER.
- CHEER is sponsored by the Home Affairs Department (HAD) to provide accessible interpretation and translation services to EM families. Check out the services with the Support Service Centres for Ethnic Minorities funded by HAD.
