Overview

The Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) is to complement the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) to provide loans to eligible students to settle tuition fees of locally-accredited, self-financing full-time programmes at the level of associate degree, higher diploma or degree.

Application Deadline

  • Continuing and new students should complete the online application according to the respective recommended submission schedules -

    Continuing Students The recommended application submission schedule has passed. If continuing students still need to submit applications, please complete and submit the application form through “eWFSFAA” online platform as soon as possible. Seven days from the date of submission of the application
    New Students Please refer to the recommended submission schedule to submit the application. For students pursuing newly-accredited programmes in the 2025/26 academic year, please submit the online application within one calendar month from the date of programme accreditation. Please approach the respective institution for enquiry.

  • Applicants should submit their applications in accordance with the schedule specified above. In any case, applications should reach the Student Finance Office (SFO) no later than 16 January 2026. The SFO will not process late applications beyond 16 January 2026 unless for circumstances that are beyond the control of individual applicants.

  • Please note that the SFO will not handle applications for the 2025/26 academic year received after 31 March 2026.
