The award scheme aims at recognising the achievements of students who obtained outstanding results in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE).
In the 2023/24 academic year, six awards will be granted under the SEYM Medals Scheme to students who obtained outstanding results in the HKDSE.
Each winner of the award receives a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of HK$5,000.
Based on the information provided by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, a number of top performers in the year will be invited for a selection interview normally held in October / November.
Awardees will be informed of the results in around December / January.
Award money will be paid after the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund Council has decided on the awards. This will be remitted by cheque to the successful candidates.
A medal and a certificate will be awarded to each award recipient at the Awards Presentation Ceremony scheduled for March / April.
For enquiries, please call the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund Council Secretariat at 2150 7607 or 2150 6110.
